I cannot get this song out of my head.

This may come as a shock to some of you, but I do occasionally listen to bands other than my beloved Alter Bridge. Not often, but it does happen from time to time.

And this song speaks to me, deeply. It expresses exactly how I feel as I write this book. Though definitely a work of fiction and not a memoir, writing this book has been very cathartic. This story is so personal to me, it’s a little scary that I’m going to be sharing it with the world soon. But I have nothing to hide. I’m not ashamed. Character-A is my voice, my pride. Character-B is my hope for the future, my joy. And they’re giving me the strength to finally tell the truth.
