As always, I’d like to begin this week’s progress report by thanking all of you awesome people who’ve followed, liked and/or commented on my blog!
Here are this week’s stats:
Words Edited This Week: 31,092
Words Edited So Far: 37,328
Last Chapter of Fourth Draft Completed: 12
Chapters To Go (subject to change): 7
Days Until May 31st Goal Date: 15
So, I know I spoke in my last blog post about getting back into the swing with editing and posting here once a week. And I know it’s going to sound like I’m making excuses, but man, life has been throwing me some major curve balls this spring. Last Monday, my old car wouldn’t hardly shift into reverse and it finally became clear that at 140,000+ miles, it was time to put the old girl out to pasture. I traded her in for a newer car, but the stress and emotions (I’d had that car for almost 8 years and it was one of the last things my dad helped me with, as he cosigned on it) of it threw me completely off my writing/creative game.
That said, I spent Monday catching up on editing the third draft of my next book and I can proudly say that I am back on track. Fingers crossed that the curve balls are over and I can stay on track. *knock on wood*
Goals For The Coming Week
I’d like to edit chapters 13-16 of this book, keeping me on track to finish it by the end of this month. I’d also like to finish and prepare my review for Adam Only by Roe Horvat, which I received as an ARC.
No new reviews or shout-outs to report, but sales are still steady and I am still pleased with how it’s doing.
