As always, I’d like to begin this announcement by thanking all of you awesome people who’ve followed, liked and/or commented on my blog!
If you’re a newsletter subscriber or follow me on social media, then you’ve likely already read the main character reveals for my upcoming book, Blind Faith. If you’d like to subscribe to my newsletter, you can do so HERE. I have a FREE preview of the first chapter of Blind Faith coming next month, so I highly recommend it.
Without further ado, here are brief character studies for each of the main characters in Blind Faith.
First, Sonny…
Harrison “Sonny” Lakes is 26 years old during the events of Blind Faith. As revealed in the blurb, he’s a former US Army medic. He was discharged from the military after a traumatic event left him with severe PTSD. But he’s so much more than his service and discharge status. He’s a huge Queen fan. He has two younger sisters, making him the only male in his immediate family after his father passed away. He is this book’s vegan because not only am I going to play a part in normalizing gay romance, I’m also going to play a part in normalizing veganism. He’s also a Cancer, born June 30th, as well as an ISFJ on the Myer’s-Briggs scale. And he is an absolute joy to write!
And now Abe…
Abel “Abe” Ellis is 31 years old during the events of Blind Faith. As stated in the blurb, he’s a cop for the small town of Sweetshade, Texas. A lifetime resident of Sweetshade, he’s familiar with most folks in town and likewise, they know him. He’s his own special brand of out and proud and up until Sonny comes along, he feels fairly safe in his hometown. Abe is one of two sons. His interests include reading (more on that in the next book), having a good time, and definitely not cooking. He’s a Scorpio born October 30th, as well as an ESTJ on the Myer’s-Briggs scale. And I could not have chosen a better eventual partner for Sonny!
Though I deeply loved James and Kieran, I feel Sonny and Abe on an even deeper level when I think about and write them. I’m going to chalk it up to growth as a writer, but I also think I may have something very special with them.
If you’d like to preorder an ebook copy of Blind Faith, you can do so HERE. You can also add it to your Goodreads TBR HERE if you feel so inclined. As stated above, I will be including a free first chapter preview of Blind Faith in my December 2nd newsletter.
I can’t wait to hear what you think!
