First, Happy New Year everyone! I couldn’t be more thrilled to be starting the year that I’m finally going to be a published author. I have so much I want to do this year and I can’t wait to share it all with you!
After essentially taking the month of December off (it was a rough peak season at the day job…), it’s definitely time to start talking more about my upcoming release, Credence. If you follow me, you know that when I uploaded everything to Amazon, I had to more or less reveal the cover and blurb when the preorder went live. This left me with just a few items to show off during the preorder period.
Today, we’re two months away from the official release of Credence. To mark the occasion, I’m revealing the paperback cover design:
Credence Paperback Cover Design
Because it’s a PDF file, which Kindle Direct Publishing requires and my cover designer provided, you’ll have to click on the link above to view it.
If there was any doubt in my mind about how much I loved this cover, the full paperback design convinced me once and for all that I’d made the right decision in sticking with it.
And now, for a little mood music:

For every book I write, I create a playlist on Spotify. While I don’t listen to music while I write, I do find it helpful to create a playlist anyway so I have a way of keeping my mind focused on my current storyline. I often listen to these playlists at work or elsewhere, adding appropriate songs as I see fit. If you want to get a feel for the vibe of Credence – it is a book about two musicians, after all – then check it out! When and if you decide to read it, you can refer back, chapter by chapter, and sink even deeper into the story.
If you’d like to see the finished product, don’t forget to check out my book, Credence! Releasing on March 1, 2019, it is currently available for digital preorder via Amazon, HERE.
Have a great 2019, everyone!
